News :: Monsterus aLive on Halloween!

On Halloween the monsters were out in all their Zealot glory as they were invited to perform at Family Christian Stores (Dayton) Harvest Blowout. According to reports from Family's Regional Management, Monsterus has been the Best Selling Independent Artist in recent history...with some stores reporting sales as high as 50 units in the 1st Sales Quarter!!! This event was coordinated by Family Music Director, Corrie Hammerle, whose parents were friends of Ron's parents way back when. The event brought out many new fans including long-time email friend Howie Coleman, who drove over an hour to see the guys live and David Guntle who is a strong Monsterus supporter from Middletown (see both pictured with Zilla.) Most importantly in attendance was Monsterus bassist, Don Williams who arrived in good spirits and just in time for the event...having come from his Father's funeral in New Orleans earlier in the day. This was also the first Monsterus show for 'BabyZilla' who loves watching Daddy pound away. Corinthian (BabyZilla) came prepared to the show wearing his fist Monsterus shirt to support Daddy, Uncle Mars and Uncle Don. See the funny pick below of Cori with his daddy after the show giving his best Italian "You don't want none of me...or my big hairy friend" expression. The guys also thought it was cool to see that one of the Family Store staff had carved the Monsterus 'bat' symbol out of a pumpkin...and for all you radicals ready to stone us...this is not a Jack-O-Lantern...it's a Bat-O-Lantern!!!
