News :: Monsterus Releases 2 CDs in the Same Weekend!

The weekend of August 1-3 is a day that will live in infamy! Friday, August 1st, Monsterus’ debut CD “Zealots in the Land of Nod” hit the streets worldwide to an incredible reception! Then on Sunday, August 3 another Monsterus “C-D” was released entitled...Corinthian Dale Campbell! That’s right Zilla’s a daddy!!! Most everybody knew that Monsterus drummer Ron Campbell and his wife Heather were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their first child “Baby Zilla” on August 29th. Well, he surprised us all by showing up a month early! “It was unbelievable,” Ron recalls, “It was around 6:00 a.m. when Heather’s water broke...we quickly packed the bag for the hospital and around 9:00 a.m. was informed that our baby was on the way. Initially, based on the early stages of labor and dilation we were informed we had a very long day and night ahead of us...well everything changed when at 4:05 p.m. I was holding our beautiful son in my arms. He’s 100% perfect (see attached picture)...and although he was early, nothing was premature...he went right into the normal baby nursery and he and mother were back at home by Tuesday. Cori weighed in at 6 lbs. and 18.75 inches long with dark brown hair and dark eyes. He’s a wonderful blessing from God and addition to our family!” A few weeks earlier, another unexpected happening occurred. Monsterus bassist Don Williams went to New Jersey to oversee the production of the new album at Disc Makers...see pics with Monsterus Sales Rep., Steve Parry and Monsterus Production Mgr., Tom Barrett from Disc Makers. Upon his return home with the finished album...3 of the Special Guests that appear on “Zealots in the Land of Nod” were all together in one place. Here you’ll see Mars and Ron with (L to R) Pastor Rick Thornsburg (Karma?), brother Pete Spackman (Zealot in the Land of Nod), and Ron’s dad...Dr. Dale R. Campbell (Trinity)...they were excited to be the first people to get a copy of the album hot off the presses!!!
