News :: The Gnashing Teeth of the Monster!

Friday, May 28th...Monsterus celebrated Zilla's Birthday by rockin' the roof off of the Gathering Grounds. Monsterus was especially excited to finally get the opportunity to minister/perform alongside with fellow Christian Hard, Hard, Hard Band Gnashing of Teeth. This Hard Rock/Hardcore "Tag Team" event had been discussed in both camps for a number of years...but leave it to Steve at the Gathering Grounds to put everything in motion and make it finally happen. Both bands also had a solid road paved before them as another local Hardcore favorite, Skintrade blew the doors off of the place. "This was a blast" Ron mentions, "I had met Duane (G.O.T. Guitars) and Marc (G.O.T. Bass) a few years back when they came to see us live...so it was great to re-connect and catch-up with each other. I also spent a bit of time after the show getting to know Gnashing's newest addition to their slammin' lineup...awesome frontman, Mike Wise. This was also my first time to see Gnashing delivering the goods firsthand...but I definitely recommend everyone to check them out...their drummer Larry is pretty unbelievable!!!"
