Sister told us about a man
who wondered how God could be three unified
when he saw a boy pour a pail of water
into a hole by the oceanside...

I’m not afraid Lord, call me out onto the water.
I don’t understand, but with faith I guess it doesn’t really matter.

Sister said the moral of this story goes
that there are some things we are not meant to know;
the mind of man trying to understand God
is like a boy trying to pour the ocean into a hole.
